​You'll usually find Fern trotting round with Ishbel, but she's become such a fixture at the practice that we count her as one of the team. Fern is a five-year-old border terrier who keeps a close eye on everything that goes on at Endrick Vets.

Her favourite things in life are going to the Merkins Farm on holiday, rolling in lamb poo and demolishing a packet of gravy bones.
